Diabetes Fundraiser at the Phoenix Space Station

At the Phoenix Space Station, there will be an event to help benefit Diabetes research. Second Life Newser was informed by the Galaxy Fleet Command Star Trek roleplay group that "The RL organization Fraternal Order of Eagles is hosting a fund raiser and educational talk for the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation as a combined SL/RL mega-event!"

"We will be  in a real-life event to show  the real world  what fun we have." Edconnect Gufler of Galaxy Fleet Command told the Newser, "Christian Zefanwe has been working hard over the months to create this event and we are finally here."

The Fraternal Order of Eagles on their website (http://www.foe.com/) stated they raise nearly 10 million for charity every year, and have a Diabetes Research Center named for them.
