Announcement: July 2020 HFOT Donations

This is exciting folks!  The month of July is when our country was founded over 240 years ago …and in the month of July this year through the hard work of many kind folks in Second Life we sent $1250 in donations to Homes For Our Troops.  This brings the total for 2020 year to date to $7900.  If we can keep this up for the rest of 2020 we can beat 2019’s $14000 in donations …..and  I know we will do it!

Jamie Crossman , Manager of Individual Giving at HFOT stated this about our efforts in July:

"I hope you are all enjoying your summer to the best of your ability.  Despite all of the challenges we are facing your unwavering support to help our severely Veterans is incredible and greatly appreciated.  Every day we are hearing from Veterans and their families who say their HFOT home is a blessing and they couldn't be able to be surviving this pandemic so easily without it.  We can't do what we do without you, and this is the proof.  Thank you for your continued efforts.

Lastly, folks please say some prayers for our good friend Dahlea Milena who is now fighting cancer.  Dahlea is a kind soul and she has been a part of our efforts for extremely wounded veterans from the very first day we started.  We pray she beats this and is back with us soon.
