On Sunday August 30, Veterans Isle held it's monthly benefit concert. From 4 PM SL time to 9 PM, several live performers and one DJ would play music for the crowd. The event, organized in part by guitarist Frets Nirvana, was to raise money for the Homes For Our Troops charity.
Here we are at the end of the summer folks …and we will be topping it off with our Homes For Our Troops benefit. Waya Snowpaw has already kicked it off. And next is Wolfie Moonshadow at 5 PM …Wolfie is a veteran and will be giving his all for this cause.DJ Waya Snowpaw started things off at 4PM. At 5 PM, Wolfie Moonshadow got on the stage. 6PM was when Chilleee Hernandoz sang for the crows. It was Hogan Baily's turn at 7PM. And last but not least was Savannah Coronet at 8 PM, "Savannah sings her heart out folks …and you know she will be doing this especially for extremely injured vets!" As the musicians performed, the audience donated money to two house-shaped kiosks on either side of the stage.
At the end of the event, a total of 192,408 Linden dollars had been donated.
