Breaking News: Rosehaven To Close

The Newser has just found out that the Rosehaven Estates will be closing later this year. The announcement was made first at an event, then officially on August 30 by Seleɳɑ Mσσɳcɧilɗ.

After nineteen wonderful years, I have made the difficult decision to close Rosehaven. This was not an easy choice, but one that came after much reflection and soul-searching. Some may try to place blame or point to individuals, but the truth is simpler: for many years this decision has weighed on my heart. With the loving support of those closest to me, I have spent the last five years coming to terms with the fact that it is time to simplify my life, follow my heart, and answer the siren call of what lies beyond the horizon.

 More details to come.

Caledon Steampunk Community to Lose Sims

Some sad news for the people in the Caledon steampunk area. Last night, community leader Desmond Shang announced that three sims (four if a homestead is counted) will likely be closing soon.

Now that I've got notices out to everyone in Kittiwick, Tanglewood, and Cay, this is a general announcement that we are cutting back 3 standard regions and one homestead (tbd due to possible swaps).

Residents, if you haven't paid your parcel meter, I'm going to assume you don't want the parcel, and a displaced resident from a closing region can have the unpaid parcel.

Caledon currently has 22 sims, full and homestead. It started out as two, and quickly expanded to 29 in 2007. But over time, it got a little smaller. This loss would make it 18.

Hopefully a way to be found to keep these sims from closing.

Second Norway and Sailors Cove on the Rebound

In late March, the Newser reported the Second Norway estate sims were in trouble. Not long after, Patch Linden informed that Linden Lab was in talks with it's owner, Ey Ren, whom also owned much of the Sailor's Cove area, about the future of the areas. Ey would also start posting updates on the situation in his Bald Elf Blog. Patrick Leavitt would come forward to take ownership of the majority of Ey's Sailors Cove East sims. But 17 could not be saved and were slated to fade away.

Of Second Norway, Vanity Bonetto came forward and Ey would transfer ownership of the estate to her. Inara Pey would describe Vanity as having a history of being "able to take over a number of smaller SL estates that have got into difficulties over the years and then turning them around." Ey will remain as the manager of the "Second Norway Lufthavn" group. And "the legacy content on the present Second Norway region (Bryggen, the stave church, etc) will remain." But Ey would tell his readers to expect a number of changes in the landscape of the sims.

I hope that before long Mialinn, SlaYeR and me can invite people to fun nights in the SN club with DJs, quizes and general jibberish talk, just like in the old days.

I am sad to let go of the ownership of what has been a dear project of mine since 2008. But as things are, I am thrilled to see Second Norway survive and be developed by professionals. I am very confident in Vanity Bonetto and her ability to bring Second Norway onwards in a good way. We have had a lot of talks, and I am pleased to say we see eye to eye on all the important parts of this deal.

And to my joy, I will still be able to tag along and make sure that Second Norway will still be that unique and special Nordic part of Second Life. That is a lot more than I could hope for a few weeks ago.

While a few of the sims have gone away, most will remain. While the final word has yet to be written on the situation, it looks like it will be overall a happy ending.

Update on Second Norway/Sailors Cove

About two weeks ago, word started getting around that the Second Norway sims, located at the eastern part of the Blake Sea, were in trouble. Soon after at the VWBPE conference, Patch Linden stated that Linden Lab was in talks with owner Ey Ren, and was confident of a good outcome. Since then, starting on April 2, Ey began posting updates of the situation on his "Bald Elf Blog."

For those in Second Norway, Ey has stated no one there has to pay tier "until further notice. ... No regions will be taken offline without prior notice in due time. Tier payments will however be a matter between tenants and the new owner once region ownership has changed. I will research how to fund regions not changing ownership. Eventually, I will start removing regions which I am unable to keep or get new owners/sponsors for. All removals will be announced well before they happen."

For another estate of sims to the south, Sailors Cove, Ey announced that 24 of the 45 sims were being handed over to Patrick Leavitt. Of the sims left, four would be taken down, "This is to avoid entanglement with Patrick's regions and allow for eventual expansion."

A lot of infrastructure and rental equipment will have to be replaced and change hands over the next couple of weeks as we help Patrick and his estate managers get in control over the areas. Tenants will be contacted and given info on how to proceed under new ownership.

Stay tuned for further updates.

Second Norway In Trouble, Economic Effects of Coronavirus Blamed

Sad news. It appears the Second Norway area, the easternmost part of the Blake Sea could be closed soon. The Newser was tipped by a user on Facebook, Karasu Ravinbyrd Tori, whom stated she received the following notice in one of her groups.

I am sorry to inform that due to year of deficit and the current corona crisis, job loss and failing krone exchange rate, Ey Ren are no longer able to keep the ship afloat. LL has closed his account. Ey has contacted LL and the other owners of Blake Sea in hopes of reaching an agreement for further existence of SN and SCE. Make sure that you pick up your no copy objects. I don't know the timeframe when the region goes offline. Unfortunately, I have no more information at this time.

Checking the Second Norway group, there was a similar notice:

Hello everyone, as you might have heard the SN estate is closing. This is mainly due to the current financial situation you see all around now a days. The owner is in contact with LL and other estate owner around to see if there is a possibility to keep some regions down in SCE, We do not have an exact time frame when things will go down yet. We will give out more information as we learn it.

I would like to thank everyone who has rented and enjoyed the estate, we have had a blast hosting

As it turns out, the value of Norway's currency has gone down quite a bit in the past few months. According to Wikipedia, "as of October 2019 is worth about 9 NOK. During the corona crisis 2020, the NOK fell heavily, making one USD cost 12.00 NOK on 19 March 2020."

Second Norway is located at the east end of the Blake Sea area, consisting of a little more than forty sims.

Tori wondered that it might not belong before there would soon be more estates closing, "My advice is... DO NOT pay your tier more than a week or two ahead at a time so as to cut your potential losses if they tank on you." With the shutdowns around the world due to the Coronavirus, with people out of work and businesses closed, this very well could start to happen in places in which the owner was already in trouble or didn't plan ahead.

Mieville in Trouble Due To Missing Landowner

The Mieville steampunk community is facing a crisis: the disappearance of the landowner, Perryn Peterson. After a tip, I joined the community group, and in a notice from February 3, read the following.

As many people know Mieville is facing a challenge. Our beloved Mayor went into hospital at the end of December and has not returned. There is a lot of uncertainty about how we should respond but some careful evaluation of where we are right now may help us plan what to do if the unthinkable has happened.

The rest of the notice talked about coming up with a plan about what to do. A later notice discussed about talking about the situation with a Linden.

I ended up contacting Wyvern Dryke, also known as Wyvvy. "Perryn is on extended medical leave," he told me, " Other than that, we have no news.  He left for the hospital on Dec. 28, 2019. He was sick with a severe flu for six weeks prior. We never heard anything after he went to hospital.  For all we know, he's in some rehab center on a drip tube. No one, including his partner, has any RL information to contact him."

So what are the people doing? Wyvern told me they were in the middle of making a backup plan. How much time did they have and how much slack would Linden Lab give them? "We have no idea how much time. LL won't tell us. But they said they'd be wiling to 'work with us' once the rent dries up. In the meantime I am keeping everything going forward like it was before: all events, Social Night, feeshing, etc." While some residents had left the estate grounds, others were staying. The local church was making plans for Ash Wednesday. Wyvern added, "We have Steam Hunt and Steam Expo 2020 opening on March 1. Lasts until March 31. Then in May we have Anxiety Awareness Art Festival." They were still accepting merchants for the Steam Expo, of which info can be found at Mieville Shelley (65/64/1035).

Overall, the mood was optmistic, "Everyone in Mieville is putting forth great effort.  Our meetings on Monday are crowded with concerned citizens willing to discuss Mieville's future.  We all miss Perryn and wish for him to return, but in case he doesn't, we are willing to figure out a new future."

Templeton Cove

Gemma Cleanslate's travels took her to a sixteen-sim estate named Templeton Cove. A mostly wilderness and water area, some places are only for those who rent there, but there are plenty of fun areas open to all. Among the things one can do are horseback riding, hiking, and biking trails, ballooning, kayaking, bumper cars, and more. And of course there's the scenery.

St. John Estate to Close, Owner Gabrielle Riel to "Semi-Retire" From Second Life

On December 28, the residents living in the St. John Estate got an announcement from the owner, Gabrielle Riel. She had made the decision to close the sims and "semi-retire" from Second Life due to pressures in real life demanding her attention.

"I am closing the whole estate because my real life demands my full focus now. I am not going to have time to manage any sims, even a few," she stated in her blog, "for the foreseeable future I will just log in to Second Life to play my gigs, which are Songs from The Nightingale on the first Sunday of the month, The Temple on the first Thursday of the month and The Rosehaven Ball on the second Saturday of the month. I will also play gigs for hire according to my availability.

"I don’t see myself logging in for any other reasons than that for now. Second Life stopped being social for me over 10 years ago and I don't really have the desire to just log in and be social. Plus, 2017 killed the joy I had in certain types of social interactions in SL. I dealt with too much ugly, too much crazy, too much toxic, too much loss, too much abandonment, too much disappointment and too much grief.

"The reality is that I have barely been in Second Life since July and I have come to accept the fact that that is just the way things are now due to my real life. ...Change is hard, but just as The Universe hit me over the head in 2013 to tell me it was time to create St John, it hit me over the head, then dropped a ton of bricks on me in 2017 to tell me it was time to let St John go. It’s time for me to let a lot of things go. It’s time for me to walk a new path. "

The sims will be closing one at a time, from January 5 to January 30

Friday January 5 - Bayou St John
Sunday, January 14 - St John Woods
Tuesday, January 16 - Lake St John
Tuesday, January 23 - St John Parish
Tuesday, January 23 - St John Maurepas
Tuesday, January 23 - St John (Uptown)
Tuesday, January 30 - St John Islands

Some of the sims will be available for sale, but Gabrielle stated, "however keep in mind that I am clearing the sims. I won’t sell any of the sims with the builds or landscaping. The buyers will also need to move and rename the sims."

Gabrielle's Radio Riel will remain up and running. Although the community newsletter the St. John Intelligencer (http://stjohnintelligencer.tumblr.com/) will remain up, it will no longer be updated.

Linden Lab Starts Increasing Prim Limits of Private Sims

On Thursday November 3, Linden Lab announced that they were in the process of increasing the prim limits of Mainland sims. They also stated that while private sims would also be seeing a similar increase, it would not be right away, but "within a couple months." On Tuesday November 29, the Lab announced that they were finally starting these increases.

As of today, we are extending this benefit to Private Estate Regions. Full Regions, Homesteads, and Openspace Regions on Private Estates will get a 33% increase in Land Impact allowance at no additional charge! Now everyone will have more prims to enjoy!

As with the Mainland sims, the private island prim capacity increases are being done through their weekly rolling restarts. So the process should be done by next Monday.

Linden Lab also brought up their plans to allow private sim owners the option to boost their prim allowance by an additional 10,000 to 30,000, saying it would be "starting next week" and details would be soon. In their announcement earlier this month, they stated it would cost a $30 USD fee up front and a monthly $30 USD fee thereafter.

Among the first private sims to benefit from the boost is Purrfection Estates, best known for the "Happy Vixen" beach club. There was a general feeling of optimism that night in chat groups, though one person did express reservations, wondering if a few people might go overboard and engage in "prim wars" over the holidays, decorating their places to the max.

Do you the readers have any stories about how you, or your neighbors, are taking advantage of the prim capacity increases, or not? If so, let the us at the Newser know.

Linden Lab Gives Full Details On Sim Prim Increases: All Will Go Up, Eventually

And now we know. Yes, both Mainland and Private Estate sims will see boosts in their prim capacity. No, Private Estate sims will not be getting it for a while.

Over the course of Monday Tuesday and Wednesday, it's been revealed that Linden Lab was increasing the amount of prims that mainland sims could handle. The questions people were asking the most were would Private Estate sims be included, and just by how much would prim capacities be going up? But Linden Lab wouldn't say on those matters until yesterday, Thursday November 4 at 2PM when Patch Linden and Saffia Widdershins hosted an audience of about a hundred residents. Dropping in at 1:40PM, the place was already packed, with lots of grey lingering for a while.

Eventually, Saffia asked everyone to click on the white screen, asking people to check out (this video) if the screen wouldn't work for them. The recording was of a chat Saffia and Designing Worlds co-host Elrik Merlin had with Patch Linden (Dee Linden was there, but spoke little). Patch would go on to state that yes, the Mainland sims were getting a prim capacity increase, and so would Private Estates, homesteads, and openspace sims.

Mainland sims would get a boost from 15,000 to 22,500
Private Estate sims would go up from 15,000 to 20,000
Homestead sims would go up from 3750 to 5000
Openspace sims would go up from 750 to 1000

Patch Linden confirmed reports on the Linden Blog and elsewhere that Mainland sims were in the process of having their prim allowance increased, saying it was going up through their usual weekly restarts. For Private Estates however, the change would not come right away but "within a couple months, could be sooner, hopefully not later."

Patch also mentioned that eventually full Private sims would have the option for even greater capacity, but for a price. They could have their prim allowance boosted to 30,000, but only if a $30 fee was paid up front and a monthly $30 fee charged in addition to the usual monthly tier.

Patch stated Linden Lab would announce when they would be ready to boost Private sims and offer the further increased capacity on separate dates in the future.

Would there be a downside? Patch stated there was the possibility of older computers taking more time to process the extra prims, but assured Linden Lab had been doing much testing and felt the extra lag should be minimal to most.

After the meeting, I asked Saffia about these changes, she answered, "I'm really excited by this. I think it opens up huge possibilities for creators - both in building more objects and in building with better use of LOD."

Inara Pey of Modem World posted about the time of the meeting an interview with Patch Linden about the Prim increases. Linden Lab would also mention it on their latest blog post.

And so, we have the full story on a topic that's gotten Second Life abuzz all week.

The Big Change? Mainland Sims, Possibly Private Sims, Getting Prim and Land Impact Increase, Possibly 50%

Maybe this was the "important development from Linden Lab ...  that will change your Second Lives forever" that was talked about on Monday.

On Tuesday November 1 on the "Deploy Plans of the Week 10-31" thread, someone posted about what he noticed on his sim, "my 1024 sqm parcel there is showing a capacity of 351 PE when it should be only 234. Is there some bonus I don't know about or today's restart just buggered the land for the better?" Others noticed something was going on as well, and one stated, "I asked about the capacity increase on Live chat and the Linden said it is not a bug, that there was a roll to increase the prim useage on Mainland and that there would be a blog post from LL soon." This was followed by a message from Patch Linden.

Hi!  Over the next couple of days there will be some changes coming. The deploy will happen in stages. So as you see these changes rest assured it is normal and is happening as intended.

On November 3, we will post an official blog along with a video where I will have all of the information and details regarding these changes.

Keep an eye on the Official Blog, on Thursday for more info.

So it looks like there's going to be an increase in how many prims a sim can hold, at least for mainland. Kultivate Magazine claimed that not just mainland, but also private sims, both estates and homesteads, would get a 50% prim capacity increase. The growth would be 22500 prims up from 15000 on full private sims, and 000 prims, up from 3750 on homesteads, "Keep in mind that these prim increases are on some mainland regions, so your sim may not have been upgraded yet."

As of the writing of this article, there is no official word from Linden Lab. But there is plenty of chatter on both the thread of the official forums, and the SL Universe forums. Details will have to wait until the special announcement at 2PM today.

Dreamcatcher Home Rentals

By Theonlyjohnny

This is more than just one sim. Dreamcatcher is a rental company spread across multiple sims. This place has it all, from one room apartments, to full houses. The look and feel of the place is one to remember, and so is the hospitality of the employees.

Each of the Tower apartments is fully furnished, with a bed, hot tub and couch set. Though they are stacked, which doesn't give a lot of privacy, these rooms are still an amazing find. With the price of 5L per day, or 35L a week, this room makes an amazing home. Yes, you can even add your own personal touch, 10 prims worth of it. You may wish to add more prims, in that case you only need to pay a simple L$2 per prim. Make sure that you're ready for a great time, since the bed offers an adult menu, upon you sitting on it.

The next room is their $50L Themed rooms. These rooms are much like the Tower apartments, except they add a skybox with 7 themes, and, upon request, offer media and security. These rooms are larger than the apartments, and still offer the same 10 prims, along with the same L$2 per extra prim. These rooms also offer the adult bed menu, and are definitely worth paying a visit to.

Then there's what I call the double room. In looks almost like the themed rooms, only it has a wall, and doorway to get to the hot tub and the bed. This adds more privacy, and at L$ 125 a week I would say it's a great investment. Plus, 20 prims for you to decorate with is a great reason why these rooms can instantly feel like home to you.

The Loft skyboxes, much like the themed rooms, offer security and media, upon request, along with the bed, couch set, and hot tub. However, these rooms aren't called loft skyboxes for nothing. The bed is situated on a loft, above the hot tub, which sits in a room, perfect for a restroom. Right outside the door to the "restroom" is a small dining table, with two chair, and a kitchen area. To the side of the "restroom" (which, might I add, sits in the corner) is the living room, with the couch set, and the media system. These rooms do offer the changeable skybox themes, and 20 prims as well. At L$190 a week, these rooms are definitely a sight to see.

The Manhattan skybox rooms are amazing rooms that offer an upstairs bedroom, and bathroom, as well as a large downstairs. These not only offer the standard couch set, bed, and hot tub, they also offer media and security, upon request of course, a rug and even a fire place. Of course they're not called Manhattan skyboxes for nothing, since you have a night and a day view of Manhattan. These rooms also offer house controls for lighting, and 20 prims for your own personal touches. At L$ 350 a week, these rooms are a great deal, that is unmatched.

Of course, as I mentioned earlier, they offer houses as well. These houses range from L$ 200 to L$ 599, along with some in 1000's. Each house is fully furnished, the way a house should be, and they're all extremely well designed.

The sum total of all these choices is not some number. It's the amazing place that Dreamcatcher is. This is not just another place to rent homes. Dreamcatcher is much more than that. It's a place where you can meet new people, and make new friends.

Now, I know that I have told you a lot about it. However, there are other people who can vouch for how great a place this is. One tenant, Imagine, writes,

"I absolutely love living at Dreamcatcher Home Rentals! Jessa is super sweet and lets me build with in limits. This is the best place I've ever lived in SL and will be here for a really long time."

Then Mariah, another tenant, writes,

"Dreamcatcher is a great place to live.  We have a wonderful skybox with a great price to call home.  All the residents are very friendly and the managment is also friendly and super helpful.  I would recomend Dreamcatcher to anyone old or new if you are looking for a great place to live at an affordable rate.  The homes are beautiful and have everything we need already there."

These are just two people who have each had a very great time living in a home, rented to them from Dreamcatcher.

All in all, I would say visiting Dreamcatcher has been one of the best times of my life, and I would definitely recommend y'all check it out.

SL New England

Shellie Sands is back with an article on a scenic place: Second Life New England. With thirty-five sims, Shellie could get a look at only a small part of this vast location. But what she did see was very much noteworthy, places of sailing ships, recreations of historic places in real-life New England, and locations catering to merfolk. A place that, sadly, is in danger of disappearing from the Grid.

Live in Sunweaver Islands: A Bargin Home in Second Life

Finding a place to live in Second Life for an affordable price can be a challenge. Sign up for Premium Membership to get a “free” Linden home, one will be paying $9.95 US dollars a month. One can rent land, allowing one to stay a free resident and skip the fee, but the prices for rental land and homes can be high, a thousand Lindens a week or more.

How about a place in Second Life where you pay not a thousand Lindens per week, but per month?

At the Sunweaver Islands, 1000L will get you for four weeks, a rate of 250L a week, a 512 square meter plot, 16m x 32m in size, with a 117 prim limit. One can rent as many lots as are available, and the staff will join them into a larger lot if possible, so one can build the house of one’s dreams.

The Sunweaver Islands have both public islands and private islands available:

Public Islands allow one the Flexibility of having either a house, store or both. As the name suggests, they are fully open to the public.

Private Islands allow one greater privacy, but are restricted to residents of Sunweaver Islands only. One is allowed to build stuff for sale, but no selling is allowed here. Control over who gets on the islands and behavior is enforced.

For more information on rental space in the Sunweaver Islands, please contact one of the rental managers: Nydia Tungsten, Wensleydale Dinkins, Shockwave Yareach, and Rita Mariner.

Also ask what move-in specials are available. As of now, the first month is half-off the normal price for new renters. In addition, thirteen lots have recently become available for rent in the public Sunweaver Air sim, twelve in one single lot, “So if you are interested, or know someone who is, now is the time to come shopping. This much land doesn’t open up often, especially all in one nice big place.”

Fox Reports

Fox Reports began as a monitoring system for SkyBeam Sandbox. It was used to be able to file notes and reports about various people who caused mischief or broke the rules with repeated infractions leading to land or estate banning as appropriate, with the ability for all of the sandbox 'guardians' to have access to each others' reports. The system has a number of features geared towards making this information easily accessible by all admins without having the installation or trust network issues incurred with something like banlink.

Even more exciting are the new features which allow for estate level controls from the web. For any estate manager or owner who has ever been at an event and had to leave to go ban someone or restart a laggy region, the ability to launch a web browser and handle the situation remotely is a huge blessing. It further enables one to react to situations when not even logged into Second Life, like when one is stuck at work, for example. This also gives you the ability to give additional managers the estate level controls, even if they aren't Estate Managers in game, thus extending your management team beyond the normal ten allotted.

Second Life Newser's Bixyl Shuftan recently met up with Fox Reports creator EriX Oh to ask him a few questions about the security system.

Bixyl Shuftan: How did you find out about SL?

EriX Oh: (I saw it on) TV, and was jobless, for a short time. (I was interested in) the thing, that I can convert L$ to real money, which I did sometimes.

Bixyl Shuftan: How did your experience go at first?

EriX Oh: Because I'm programmer, I've had a completely different experience than the other users. It went fast. After a few days of SL, I found this sandbox (SkyBeam), later on, Charlene, etc.

Bixyl Shuftan: How long was it before you got a position here at Skybeam?

EriX Oh: I think only three weeks, and I had the guardian tag. ... I always made photos of griefers, proof ready, put these up to my server, and gave Char the links to the picture as IM.

Bixyl Shuftan: When did you first come up with the idea of Fox Reports?

EriX Oh: I came to the idea when I saw, the issues between guardians, and the communications: what did he/she do , with that person, etc. I already saw the problems. So, I came to the idea to have a webpage, to manage that. It was only a simple textbox, with an person-index,nothing more.

Bixyl Shuftan: What kind of problems, for example?

EriX Oh: Communication: I mean, what did Guardian A do with that person X , is X already warned/banned, etc. So the entire "clique" will instantly update, and not need to ask around for the information, and solving the offline-unavailable issues of the person(s).

EriX Oh: And so, it evolved more and more. And then I got the idea to match the Second Life estate-ban list with my system. And so I re-made the system, to get and manage SL's banlist, and resolving other issues, such as mass ban/unban.

Bixyl Shuftan: How long did it take to develop the system?

EriX Oh: I only needed a few, four maybe, days to have the first primitive system up, since, I did already own the server. The system lasted only two months, and then I made what is now known as Fox Reports, April 2007 I think. Not yet public.

Bixyl Shuftan: So what are some of the features of Fox Reports?

EriX Oh: Main feature (as written on the main page), Report management and Estate-Management (off-world), with User-security rights, and E-Mail notifications. Estate includes full access to the estate's banlist, restarts, and messages. It mainly makes use of the (comfy) restart-sim functions, since they no longer need to TP to the actual sim to restart it.

Access via LSL works well. Thus, you're able to add a "Firealarm-button" to restart the sim, where the button is. Of course, check first who did pushed the button. Otherwise, anyone can restart the sim.

Bixyl Shuftan: So this fire alarm button, anyone can see in the sim, and press?

EriX Oh: If badly programmed, yes. I never saw something like that.

Bixyl Shuftan: I read there was a feature in which the system can be accessed if one is logged into Second Life, or not.

EriX Oh: The functions are all accessible, inworld and outworld, using a regular webbrowser. To restart a sim, for example, you do NOT need to be online in SL - as the bot will perform it, not you.

Bixyl Shuftan: How easy is it to put another sim manager into the system, such as a friend or friends who can be here when you can't?

EriX Oh: Easy, you simply create a Fox Reports account for the person, and tell the server, that the person can access these estates (permissions can be set on estate levels - if you've multiple estates, and different groups of people. who can do things). They do NOT need to be an EM here in world - thus, that allows to have more than 10 "pseudo-EMs.” That's a trick, that we do use here in the SkyBeam sandbox. They're not estate managers here, but can ban/un-ban people from the estate, and restart the sim in case of issues, causing many other people to go "huh????"

Bixyl Shuftan: Any other features in particular you wanted to bring up?

EriX Oh: A new feature will be added soon, a "sim grabber,” that fetches parcels for sale (you do not need to drop an object to the parcel) and allows you to list it on your page, using the API - but that needs to be developed first.

Bixyl Shuftan: Any other projects that you're working on besides Fox Reports?

EriX Oh: I'm trying a new app, but dunno if that works, etc. It has nothing to do with SL. I've some small applications available to download (they can be found at Fox Report's too).

Bixyl Shuftan: Sounds Good. Anything else you want to add?

EriX Oh: Not that I know of, except that I need a few more clients.

EriX had a little time before he had to leave, so he showed me his grounds at the appropriately-named Fox sim. It had some interesting features, such as an obstacle course, and a building with pictures of foxes, and old Luxembourgian money from the country's pre-Euro days on the floor.
