Would you guys running these clubs please get your OWN groups to promote your events in, and stop using the main Sunweavers group for it? Four clubs running twenty different events a week, with anywhere from 2 to 4 group notices per event(*), is capping my IMs CONSTANTLY and it's getting kind of tiresome. I'm also worried that I'm going to miss an announcement that's actually important, such as changes to the sims, because of being buried and IM-capped in event spam.
ReplyDelete(* for that matter, do you REALLY need to send out multiple group notices of events as they're already in progress? If the event is already half-over, then the only people who are likely to care are those who are already online, and group CHAT, rather than notices, is fine for that.)
