Another Sucessful Relay Weekend
The Relay Weekend, the most intense 24 hour event in Second Life, came and went on Saturday and Sunday. Over a thousand people set foot on the sims that made up the track. And this being the largest track in the number of sims, there was a lot to see.
It had all started with the opening ceremony, which could be seen live on youtube for those at their campsites or otherwise unable to get there, (Click here if the video fails to play).
And the closing ceremony was when it officially ended (Click here if the video fails to play), but while some people left to get much needed sleep or take care of things in real life, others continued to gather in smaller events or continue to walk the sims.
For those whom couldn't see the sims due to the lag, they will remain open until Wednesday June 10. This will be the day of the Flood Party. Word has it all of the sims, not just a few, will be flooded, but this is unconfirmed.
We'll have some more information soon. For now, yours truly needs to get a little rest.
